The DS3 Biotic pen is made from renewable resources. In this case it is a plastic made from PLA (plant-based plastics) making this a more sustainable alternative to everyday plastic pens.
The Sand version also has FSC wood -powder composites mixed in during manufacture to reduce the PLA content on that option.
