The book does have a slightly heavier feel which gives it an extra air of quality, and it feels quite different. The Karst notebook has a luxurious soft touch cover and richly smooth paper, making it a high-quality notebook that will immediately convey its differences just by touch. A by-product of being made from stone not paper is that this book is also waterproof. The pages are also tear-resistant making this a more heard wearing choice. A further plus point is that this book can be recycled indefinitely whereas paper can only be recycled up to 7 times and only with the addition of virgin fibres.
