The Castelli Samoa is a fully recyclable notebook, made entirely from recycled paper. For years we have waited for a recycled notebook that is of a high enough quality to compete with the non-recycled books and finally we have it with the Samoa. The cover is made from 40% post-consumer waste (paper that has been used already) and 60% post-industrial waste (typically printer offcuts): the pages inside are an impressive 100% post-consumer waste. This means that the notebook is made entirely from wastepaper, making it brilliantly eco-friendly.

There is no elastic closure, ribbon marker or pen loop which means when you are finished, the whole book can be recycled in the paper stream. The pages inside are lined and numbered with a helpful index at the front making it perfect for note keeping plus each page also has a space at the top to put a title or date. In keeping with the simple approach, there is no inside back pocket and there are recycled symbols to reaffirm its green credentials.

Despite being one of our cheapest notebooks to brand, the Samoa is both smart and responsible – perfect for anyone wanting to make a difference.
