Description
The Ocean Bottle is a unique alternative to the standard reusable water bottle. It’s a 500ml vacuum-insulated bottle that will keep drinks hot or cold for longer. But each sale carries a powerful social and ecological message. The sale of each bottle makes a funds the clear-up of over 11kg of plastic, which is roughly 1,000 plastic bottles. Yes, one Ocean Bottle purchased funds the removal of around 1,000 plastic bottles from rivers and seas.
Plastic bottles are removed from rivers, waterways and local communities in Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia and the Philippines, with 372 communities benefiting from a formalised waste management infrastructure. Collectors can then exchange the collected plastic for money or social resources such as healthcare and education.
