The Sprout is designed to have a life beyond simply being a pencil. Once you’re done writing, just plant the pencil in soil, water it and watch it grow.

The pencil is made from sustainably harvested European wood, while the seed capsule is biodegradable. Depending on the version chosen, it can grow into flowers, herbs or vegetables.

Description

The BiC Sprout is a wooden pencil with a clever difference. Instead of an eraser at the end, it contains a biodegradable capsule filled with seeds.

Use the pencil as normal and, once it becomes too short to comfortably write with, just plant the end in soil. With a little water and care, the capsule dissolves and the seeds can begin to grow.

There is a choice of seed varieties including Sunflower, Daisy, Forget-me-not, Basil, Thyme, Cherry Tomato and Chilli, making the Sprout particularly good for sustainability campaigns, events and environmentally focused promotions.

Your logo is laser engraved directly into the wooden barrel, giving the pencil a simple, natural finish.
